AGDA - Aggregated Gross Demand Data

Agda is Scania's proprietary system that produces long-term forecasts for incoming parts. We ensure that factories can order parts on time and thereby maintain production capacity. Agda is the system that manages long-term forecasts for all Scania products (trucks, buses, engines, etc.), for all factories and purchasing systems. We are the hub in the network when it comes to Scania systems and production planning.
Agda is a classic three-tier system with data management, backend, and frontend. We handle large volumes of data and have multiple inbound and outbound integrations via API, Kafka, and others. We use an Oracle SQL database with a backend in Java and Spring Boot; experience with Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Batch is a plus. The frontend is in Angular with CSS and Bootstrap. We build with Jenkins and will soon migrate to GitLab Runner. We use tools such as IntelliJ, Git, and SQL Developer. The tasks involve developing or improving functionality according to customer requirements, new performance demands, or Scania IT technical updates.

We work agile in a Kanban/Scrum-like process where quality is important. We are a small maintenance team working closely with our customer. We ensure quality through short development cycles with automated unit tests and acceptance tests with the customer.
