As Sales support engineer you will be responsible for generating quotations for customized Biopharma solutions and other complex or large deals, ensuring they are cost competitive and compliant with regulatory and quality management system demands.
Essential Responsibilities:
As Sales support engineer you will be responsible for generating quotations for customized Biopharma solutions and other complex or large deals, ensuring they are cost competitive and compliant with regulatory and quality management system demands. The quotations include technical documentation, price and delivery times and can have a value between hundred thousand to several million US dollars.
You will also support the global commercial teams with deep domain technical and application expertise when required to win the hardware deals, including customer visits.
Ensure timely deliveries of high quality and competitive quotes for custom hardware projects, securing compliance with regulatory requirements and quality systems.
Work tightly with CBS team to ensure smooth transfer process for awarded customer orders.
Contribute to HQS work in developing new processes for an efficient quotation process.
Contribute to introduction of new technologies as required, to in an optimal way meet customer requirements.
Initiate new external networks needed for making competitive quotes, e.g. third party vendors, technology providers etc.
Build network among internal commercial stakeholders.

Master in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical or equivalent)
Several years of proven industry experience
Experience from Biopharma
Good coordinator with capability to handle many parallel activities
Project management skills
Business savvy
A good communicator, communicating professionally with both internal and external stakeholders
Proficiency in English
EU work permit
Desired Characteristics:
Experience from large Biopharma projects, working at Engineering Company or as customer.
Proven technical expertise within the Bioprocess equipment area.
