We are looking for a Sales Manager MTS, Material Solutions, for our Services Division in Västerås
The Sales Manager, MTS, is the key contact for rolling stock operators and maintainers in Sweden regarding material solutions by Bombardier Transportation.
Responsibilities and Challenges:
• Identify and develop opportunities within customer portfolio on short, mid and longer term
• Prepare and submit White Books (proposals for bid decision) according to the relevant process
• Prepare and negotiate proposals until contract closure to deliver Order Intake budget within the given mandates
• Manage the customers and possible partner interfaces and capture teams and guide the bid teams to secure a competitive bid with Customer requirements in focus.
• Monitoring of market and competitor analysis
• Enhance own understanding of customers? business, strategy, market, processes and needs to develop strategic solutions that maximize value for the customer
• Promote and embed a sales approach providing added value to customer business by recommending solutions, balancing short term sales needs with longer term relationship requirements.
• Build personal quality relationships at decision making-level within existing customers? organizations in order to reach targets and also keep long term relationship.
• Monitor customer satisfaction by regular dialog with the customer on this subject
• Initiate and oversee formal reviews and communications mechanisms with customers and support with actions leading to a fully satisfactory delivery
• Contract handover to MTS Project and Operation Spare PartsTeam, monitoring of execution, secure professional handling of customer complaints, reception of customer feedback.
Experience and Qualifications:
• University degree or equivalent through experience, complemented by a demonstrated track record of success.
• Experience in a business development: sales, marketing, project management or spare part solutions working for a heavy manufacturing organization
• Experience from working in an International organisation
• Experience of complex selling in maintenance contracts for industrial assets.
2-5 years of relevant experience
• Fluency in Swedish and English, German is an added value
• Knowledge in business intelligence, strategic sales skills, contractual and legal knowledge, negotiation skills and planning skills
• Strong evidence of customer led behaviour and relationship building skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of the challenge of the market.
• Technical understanding to capture and being able to communicate the basics of our product offering
• Cost reduction mindset and excellent business acumen and communication skills
• Strong customer focus, relationship building and management.
