Your role and responsibilities

As Sales Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of account managers and sales specialists across Sweden, overseeing all segments within our scope. Our goal is to deliver the industry's most competitive offerings, bringing significant value to our customers. At ABB, we have a strong installed base of solutions, including our 800xA control system for automation, our quality control systems and our low- and medium voltage offerings for electrification along with our continuously expanding digital portfolio. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our customers to ensure their voices are heard within the organization, maximizing the value of their installed base as well as providing technology leading, cost-efficient, solutions in their brownfield or greenfield investments. You will also work hand-in-hand with our operations, service business, and project execution teams to ensure successful project deliveries.

As Sales Manager for the Pulp & Paper Business Line, you will have strategic responsibility for setting the direction and building a winning team.
Continue to develop a sales-driven team focused on solution and service-related sales.
Set targets for sales team and individuals, develop the pipeline and achieve or surpass budgetary expectations.
Maintain a strong customer focus while enhancing and promoting the ABB brand within the Pulp & Paper segment and related industries.
Manage and develop account management framework and execution within Business Line Pulp & Paper scope.
Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives by providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitive activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, addressing their needs and concerns promptly.
Ensure commercial and risk awareness during the sales phase.
Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, other ABB business units, and ABB global, to ensure alignment and effectiveness in achieving sales goals.
Qualifications for the role
Extensive experience in project sales, including strategic negotiations with customers.
Strong financial acumen with a keen interest in technology and understanding customer requirements.
Several years of experience from Pulp & Paper industry is preferred.
Several years of managerial experience is preferred.
Solid knowledge of risk management, terms and conditions (T&Cs), and contract setup.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
Fluency in both written and spoken English and Swedish is essential.
