Program Manager - Group Leader
About the role
As a Program Management Group Leader you will lead a team of Car Audio Program Managers and Customer Resident Engineers as well as being responsible for some Car Audio Programs Execution and/or New Business Acquisition processes itself. The position is based in Gothenburg - Sweden and focus primarily (but not limited to) on Swedish customer base, within the CAM Greater Europe customer portfolio.
What You Will Do:
Lead a team of program managers to deliver a portfolio of customer programs
Proactively monitor the status of overall portfolio
Support the program managers by removing barriers when needed
Execute the HR cycle activities including hiring, performance management, succession planning, coaching and development.
Act as a first point of escalation, engage and moderate cross functional recovery actions
Overall program responsibility for realization of Automotive Programs
Responsible for the development and industrialization of new automotive programs and products while meeting cost, quality and timing milestones
Responsible for Program execution and documentation according to HARMAN Processes: BMS - Business Management System, PLM - Project Life Cycle Management.
Steering/Leading of Team1 with related sub-Project Leaders, sub-teams and external suppliers
Responsible for program resources/CAPEX demand planning, budget planning and cost tracking.
Align technical and commercial program targets with functional departments
Program & technical interface towards OEM-customer for all aspects of technical status, program progress and product alignment
Reporting towards customer and internally incl. top management
Lead support during RFI/RFQ-phase to compile feasibility studies and to complete product performance specification

What You Need to Be Successful
University degree in engineering (electrical engineering, information technology, mechanical engineering or equivalent graduation)
Expected general skills including, but not limited to, cross functional team leadership, arbitrate technical tradeoffs, problem solving, negotiation, P&L understanding and communication skills;
Ability to mediate between conflict parties
Relevant experience in project/program management
Previous experience with team leadership
Ability to manage very large multifunctional teams in worldwide locations
Strong customer focus required
Fundamental knowledge of program management methodologies
Fluent technical and commercial English skills
Willingness to travel when needed

Bonus Points if You Have
Team leadership experience
Harman Car Audio experience (Network, Way of Working, Processes, Technologies)
Experience with customer interface
Engineering or equivalent degree
Knowledge on Program Management tools and processes

What Makes You Eligible
Position 100% based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Residence in Gothenburg is required.
Fluent English is enough. Swedish not needed.
Availability for eventual Business Travels when needed, specially for trainings, workshops and customer visits. (expected 5-6 times a year max).
Due to the nature of global infrastructure and hybrid way of working (office/home), you understand that flexibility in working hours is required
