The year was 2005 and e-commerce had long been precarious. With an idea to offer secure and simple payment solutions, Klarna was founded that same year. Six years have passed and we have grown to an ambitious and creative company of 600 employees. We have been awarded Company of the Year in -07 (bragging), increased our turnover by 13 570 % (statistics) and managed to become the Nordic market leader (facts). Klarna is partly owned by Sequoia Capital, DST Global and General Atlantic - companies that have seen the same potential in Google, Facebook and Twitter as they do in us. We think that is a good start.

Working tasks

Klarna's amazing journey continues and even though we have come a long way since the start in 2005 we feel like we are just in the beginning of a much longer journey! To continue our success we are constantly working on new products, expanding to new markets and recruit more stars to our teams. Soon a new team will be built within our Risk department and we are now looking for you who want to be a part of it from the very beginning.

As a risk agent in the Payment Operations team you get the chance to be a part of building up a totally new part of Klarna. The working tasks are varying with both administrative tasks and some contact with both customers, merchants and authorities. You will investigate frauds and contestations, handle payments and refunds, help other departments within Klarna and make sure that all who comes in contact with us get the best possible service. Since this is a completly new team you will have big impact when it comes to building up and develop new routines, processes and cooperations within and outside of Klarna.

Who are you?

We are looking for you with a complete high school education who write and speak english fluently. You have been working with payment solutions for at least 1 year and have experience within handling contestations and/or complaints. As a person you have a natural quality for problem solving, good communication skills and a feeling for details. You are committed and engaged and we welcome you extra much if you dare to think outside the box. To fit in this role you should like to take on new challenges, be curious and wanting to work in a changing environment where you, together with you colleagues, constantly strive to improve and develop your team's work.

We like you even more if:

• You speak and write another european language such as german or dutch

• You are technically inclined
