The assignment is a full time, permanent position based at the Nordic headquarter in Solna/Stockholm. The role is reporting to Head of Retail Lindt & Sprüngli (Nordic) AB.

Main Responsibilities

As Retail Area Manager you will be responsible for the optimal performance of our physical stores in the Nordic Region. As per date, we operate 10 stores in the region, fully managed by Lindt Nordic. You will be the main contact to our Store Managers and they will report directly to you. You will work closely with all relevant organizational units such as SupplyChain, Marketing, Finance, Human Resource and General Administration.

Your tasks will include:

• To ensure that all stores will meet defined financial and qualitative targets.

• Lead a team of highly engaged Store Managers and support them in their assignment to deliver excellent service to every single consumer - every day.

• Manage day-to-day operations in order to ensure an efficient workflow.

• Ensure that Lindt Chocolate Advisors are well trained at all times and that applied skills follow the Lindt Standard Guidelines.


Together with the Head of Retail and Retail Marketing Coordinator develop, implement and analyze assortment, pricing and campaign mix to ensure agreed financial targets.

• Travel frequently within the region to become an expert in the individual market environment of each individual store (expected travel days per week: 2-3 working days)

Requirements and skills

• Minimum 5 years of documented experience in a similar role, preferably with a premium brand.

• Excellent understanding understanding of optimizing store operations and standards for success.

• Proven leadership- and excellent problem solving skills in a fast paced environment. High willingness to close knowledge gaps at the highest priority in order to be able to contribute to the success of the business.

• you have a great sense for professional customer management and understand fully how our stores play a key role in inviting visitors into our world of premium chocolate.

• You have a great sense for professional customer management and understand fully how our stores are playing a key role in how the shopping experience is shaping the consumers' view of Lindt, as a premium brand as well as a great company.

• Excellent communication skills (both written & spoken) in English. Your mother tongue is preferably one of the Nordic languages.

• Driver's license.
