Here we have the research specializations of Embedded Systems, and Innovation and Product Realisation. Our work takes place in cooperation with and in strategic agreements with companies, organisations and public authorities in the region.

Position description
The position is a 2-year temporary position for a senior researcher (PhD) within the research project Future Factories in the Cloud. The position is focused on network techniques for industrial networks in cloud and fog environments, where predictable communication with real-time requirements is in main focus.

Qualifications
The applicant should have a PhD degree in computer science or computer engineering and have a research focus on wireless sensor networks on the datalink and network layers. Further, the applicant should be experienced with low-latency network techniques for cloud and fog environments. Experience from industrial networks is important. Personal suitability for the position is of decisive importance.

Merit
Knowledge in Software Defined Networking, applied cyber-security, and multi-path communication techniques on the datalink, network, or transport layer, is considered a merit
