hela Sverige We have an immediate opening for a Research Engineer who will contribute to the development of new and improved production processes, products and applications within the Colloidal Silica business. You will drive process development in our development projects, as well as lead activities to improve quality and productivity in our plants. A part of this role is also to contribute with your knowledge to other organisations within Pulp & Performance Chemicals and continously build up knowledge around our production processes, products and applications. You will be the technical/chemical expert in cross-functional discussions and communicate with all functions involved - Sales & Marketing, Plants, Technology and RD&I.
Main responsibilities
• Contribute to the development of new and improved production processes, products and applications.
• Initiate, run and finalize projects and assignments from lab to plant scale.
• Evaluate, report and present your results.
• Strive for continuous improvement within your field of work.
• Share knowledge with other internal organizations such as Sales & Marketing, Technology, and Silica sol plants.
• Follow the technical development within your working area.
• Participate in external and internal networks.

Master of Science in Chemical Engineering.
At least five years' experience from process industry plant work.
Experience from laboratory work is beneficial.
Good communication skills with ability to write reports and present results.
Good level in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing.
