At the School of Innovation, Design and Engineering our students are studying to be for example innovators, entrepreneurs, illustrators, communications officers, network technicians and engineers. Here we have the research specialisations of Embedded Systems, and Innovation and Product Realisation. Our work takes place in cooperation with and in strategic agreements with companies, organisations and public authorities in the region.
Position description
The position is connected to the ECSEL research project.
AMASS (Architecture-driven, Multi-concern and Seamless Assurance and Certification of Cyber-Physical Systems) is expected to build on top of results achieved in the context of OPENCOSS and n/p SafeCer projects. AMASS targets increased efficiency via reuse and seamless interoperability in the context of Cyber Physical Systems development and certification. The research in AMASS will be performed in close collaboration with industrial partners.
We are offering two research assistant positions.
Position 1 is in the area of Dependability modelling and analysis.
The goals of this position are:
• Aiding MDH researchers in developing an understanding of multi-concern (focus on dependability concernes) modelling and analysis within the AMASS context.
• Helping course coordinators in tutoring master degree level students in the use of dependability modeling and analysis technology.
• Cooperating with industrial partners in the collection of data and analysis of research related projects.
• In collaboration with senior researchers and Phd students, contributing to scientific publications in the areas of dependability modeling and analysis.
Position 2 is in the area of Process engineering and measurement.
The goals of this position are:
• Aiding MDH researchers in developing an understanding of Process engineering and measurement within the AMASS context.
• Helping course coordinators in tutoring master degree level students in the use of Process engineering technology.
• Cooperating with industrial partners in the collection of data and analysis of research related projects.
• In collaboration with senior researchers and Phd students, contributing to scientific publications in the areas of Process engineering and measurement.
The positions are a temporary employment until the end of the project (March 2019).
Qualification requirements
The applicant is required to have a master's degree in computer science, possibly applied to safety-critical systems engineering. Experience in dependability modeling and analysis is needed for the first position. Experience in process engineering and measurement is needed for the second position.
Experience in scientific writing is also very much welcome for both positions.
