Elekta Instrument AB is recruiting a Reliability Hardware Engineer to the Hardware Team. Elekta Instrument AB is strengthening our Engineering team developing our future radiation therapy devices. This position is located at Elekta's head office in central of Stockholm, Sweden and will report to Head of Hardware.

What you'll do at Elekta
As a Reliability Hardware Engineer, you will drive and be responsible for the reliability of the Hardware (electronics and mechanics) in our future radiation therapy devices. You will be contributing in all product lifecycles phases, on both system level down to technical details.
You will work closely with System engineers, Mechanical engineers, Electrical engineers, external suppliers and production to develop high quality medical products.
You will be part of an Agile and cross functional scrum team working according to SAFe in a global environment.
Your main Responsibilities
Responsible for the hardware reliability in our future radiotherapy device
Balance reliability verses production cost and Life Cycle Cost
Work closely with engineer to guide and review development work, from a quality and reliability point of view.
Calculate reliability on components, sub-system and system level and follow up data from the field.
Participate in reliability testing.
Participate in all phases of product creation and maintenance
Work with external development suppliers
Participate in risk assessments

The right stuff
To be a suitable candidate for this position we think you have
A master's degree in Mechanics, Physics or similar
Strong analytical skill and considerable experience in reliability issues
10+ years of relevant product development work
Practical experiences from production and field issues
Experience of working in a regulated industry is meriting
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
