We need to strengthen our team and are now looking for a Release and Configuration Manager who has the drive and passion to join us on the journey. The Role
As Release and configuration manager you have a vital role in the embedded software development process, securing that we have control of our releases, and that we have an efficient release process.
In the role you coordinate our software releases, both internally developed software and software from external partners. This includes driving cross functional coordination meetings, time planning, verification planning as well as securing administration of releases in our Volvo systems.
You will have a close dialogue with both developers and line managers within Volvo, which builds a large network of contacts.
The Team
The AAH Software Systems team consists of 59 highly skilled engineers who are working in cross functional projects in an agile setup.
The team is responsible for the development, implementation, and release of software for Volvo CE 's autonomous and articulated haulers.

Knowledge & experience
To be successful in your new role, we believe that you have a university/BSc degree in a relevant area or equivalent experience. We believe you have a couple of years of experience, are familiar with software release and configuration processes and have a structured way of working and documenting. To be able to coordinate and take responsibility for our software releases we believe you have excellent communication skills, a customer focus, and a genuine interest in technical systems. We also believe that you are eager to learn and work with your own and the team's development.
Experience/knowledge in some of the following areas will be beneficial and are meritorious: Release and Configuration processes, Embedded software systems, Software development, CI/CD, Safety critical systems and Agile methods.
