Work description:
This is a position within the global Heat Transfer Research group which is part of R&D at SWEP. The Heat Transfer Research group is responsible for the prediction and verification of thermal and hydraulic performance. Product development at SWEP means starting with a blank paper as well as minor modifications to existing products. You will be part of a highly competent and motivated group who have a love for product development and applied research.
The overall purpose is to be part of the core competence center for thermal and hydraulic performance testing. The work envolves working with heat exchanger testing and test result analysis.
Specific work tasks will be to:
• Work with testing of heat exchanger in the laboratory
• Work with analysing test results.
• Co-operate with customers around test results and system knowledge.
• Take part in in-house development projects.
• Work with developing tools for integrating system knowledge into heat exchanger development.
• Take part in developing test procedures and measurement techniques.
Who are you?
The applicant should have a university degree equivalent of a B.Sc. or relevant work experience, focusing on system knowledge around heating and cooling systems. Knowledge of testing procedures and measurement techniques. Test data analysis, heat transfer and pressure drop calculations are important knowledge.
The applicants must have an analytical and curious mindset and ability to obtain new knowledge efficiently. English, both written and spoken is compulsory. The position requires working in a team, as well as individually.
