Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will play a key part in developing innovative technologies and solutions that address real industrial challenges. As part of our Product Line Maintenance team, you will contribute with creative ideas to ongoing R&D projects and help shape the future of our products by identifying opportunities for improvements and proposing new initiatives.
Your main responsibilities will include improving product performance, developing new features based on customer needs, and working on standardization and material optimization to enhance cost efficiency. You will also focus on design for assembly to simplify production and resolve quality issues in existing designs. You will take full ownership of individual development projects-from planning to execution-while closely collaborating with colleagues across various functions such as supply chain, production, and after-sales. Your ability to combine technical know-how with cross-functional teamwork will be key to your success in this role.
Qualifications for the role
Holds a university degree in a relevant field and has at least two years of experience in mechanical design.
Is familiar with industry standards and regulations, particularly within the heavy industry sector.
Has hands-on experience with commercial 3D CAD software.
Communicates effectively in both English and Swedish, with strong skills in both written and verbal communication.
Is solution-oriented, enjoys taking initiative, and feels confident planning and leading smaller development projects.
Has a strong interest in, or desire to work with, Product Safety.
