CG Drives & Automation has 220 employees in Sweden, Germany, Netherlands and India with the head office in Helsingborg, Sweden. Sales, technical service and product development are performed by dedicated teams in Sweden, Netherlands and Germany. Our production takes place in Helsingborg, Sweden and in Mandideep India.
CG Drives & Automation (former Emotron) is since mid 2011 part of Crompton Greaves group, a global industrial company profiled within electricity and electronics dating back to 1937 with 15 000 employees worldwide. Crompton Greaves operates in 21 countries and provides electrical products, systems and services for Utilities, Power Generation, Industry and Consumers.
In line with its increased focus on continuous improvements and quality, CG Drives & Automation is looking to recruit an experienced quality manager with a proven track record. It is a great opportunity to join an internationally successful company and to build up a new quality management function in Helsingborg. The role will be to establish and manage the new quality department whilst being responsible for updating and maintaining quality audits and systems in line with relevant standards and methods including ISO9001 and Six Sigma. The quality Manager will lead efficiency processes and drive a structured way to work with continuous improvement programs. Other responsibilities are to secure quality related follow-up in terms of KPI's etc is in place for production sites in both Helsingborg and Mandideep. Additionally the Quality Manager will be in charge of Health, Safety and Environmental management systems and follow-up.
Qualifications & personal attributes
• Solid experience from a technical, manufacturing or production environment, preferably with experience of electronics.
• BSc/MSc in engineering or equivalent
• 5-10 year's relevant experience and managerial experience within quality
• Proactive and engaged attitude and you are a self-going person with strong Drive
