About the position:
The Quality Manager will be the coordinator and facilitator of the quality management work for our SAP solutions throughout the application management lifecycle.
It is important to have knowledge of the general tools, methods and processes for Volvo IT and be engaged in its changes and development.
The focus for the Quality manager is to align the SAP solutions according to general Volvo IT directives and also to handle what is specific for the SAP area.

Initially the responsibility is to:
• Establish and define the communication between the SAP GFM (Global Functional Manager) and the applicable stakeholders
• Establish and define a GFM network
• The GFM network shall include the different responsibilities connected to SAP GFM and SAP deliveries, like Max Attention, the Customer Competence Center services, SAP architecture and Solution Manager
• Establish the follow up of implementations in our solutions of the defined SAP procedures and standards including pilot implementations

When established the responsibility is to:
• Follow up the communication flow between GFM and the solution maintenance and propose actions/improvements if needed
• Run the GFM network to collect and propose/initiate to GFM new processes and tools to be used to improve the SAP deliveries
• Follow up of implementation plans and report to GFM and Application Management line manager

With the Certification project for Advanced Customer Center of Expertise (CCoE) certification we have a good understanding of where we are, what to improve and what criteria SAP have for quality management of SAP solutions.
The Quality Manager will be a member in the GFM SAP management team.

Qualifications and skills:
• Knowledge of SAP specific tools, methods and processes at Volvo IT
• Knowledge of SAP tools, methods and processes for application lifecycle management
• Knowledge of Volvo IT general tools, methods and processes
• Language: very good level in English both spoken and in writing for international work
• Experience from working with virtual global teams.
