Malmö, a large vibrant city located in the south of Sweden.
The International School is authorized to deliver the IB curriculum (Primary, Middle and Diploma Programmes) from the age of 5 to 19. The Primary school has approximately 350 pupils with multiple classes per year group. The school is looking for a dedicated teaching assistant to work under the direction of the Swedish teacher to support students with additional learning needs in the Swedish classroom. The position is temporary and part-time, 50 %.
The successful candidate will:
• Have experience of working with children in an educational setting
• Have a high level of fluency and accuracy in both spoken and written
Swedish
• Have a professional approach to all tasks
• Be able to take direction from the classroom teacher
• Be flexible
• Be a positive role model to the students
