Purchasing Analyst, Logistics Purchasing, Logistics Services, GTO
You will be part of a purchasing analyst team in the function Purchasing Development. You will be located in Gothenburg but work with the Purchasing organization globally. You will report to the director of Purchasing Development.

Mission
In this role as Purchasing Analyst you will participate in sourcing projects by providing analytic support and calculations. You will work in close cooperation with the Purchasing departments- the responsible project manager and regional purchasers. You will also be responsible to drive internal development activities/projects and on occasion act as project representative for purchasing in Logistics Services IT projects or Volvo purchasing group initiatives. You will have an important role to support Purchasing management will analyses and reports and to contribute the Purchasing function's success and efficiency.

Main activities and responsibilities
1.Participate in the sourcing project by providing analytic support
In cooperation with the responsible Project Manager and sourcing project team;
• Develop input to the RFI/RFQ by collecting supplier information and other relevant information and to structure and analysis the data
• Make analyses and calculations from the RFI/RFQ responses and price indications.
• Consolidate an overview of all supplier proposal and scoring of the supplier response according to a set of decision criteria's
• Analyze the sourcing project content and bring ideas and challenges to the projects for potential cost improvements and to lift deviations from the commodity strategies
• With all of the above, supports the development and implementation of sourcing strategies

2.Drive internal development activities/projects
• Drive internal development activities/projects linked to process development, development of tools, templates, methods, benchmarks studies etc

3.Represent Purchasing in different foras and working groups
• The Purchasing Analyst will from time to time be assigned to represent Purchasing in Volvo Group foras including but not limited to CSR, environment, data analytics, supplier evaluation development.

4.Support to Management
• Develop reports to the purchasing management team that supports the development and efficiency in Logistics Purchasing, such as spend reports
• Provide other types of analyses - ad-hoc requests

• Holds a technical and/or economic university degree
• Very high analytic and problem solving skills
• Programming skills
• Project management skills
• High skill to work and deliver in global teams and of culture awareness
• Very high ability to drive and deliver several complex actions at the same time
• Knowledge of process development
• Excellent general IT knowledge - Excel, PowerPoint
• Very high communication skill
• Excellent level English language
