We are now looking for a business-minded Project Manager for Internal Controls to join our Group Internal Control function in Stockholm.
Our department has been given the remit of building a first-class framework for financial internal controls across the Sandvik Group, with the goal of creating a robust support function in which we work closely connected to the business. Your mission - bringing our internal control towards a first-class operation
As a Project Manager for Internal Controls, you provide specialized skills and guidance to our Division Controllers, management teams and other stakeholders in our broad organization to ensure the evaluation of internal control. You identify known and emerging risks, and together with our management, you develop processes or controls to manage and decrease the impact of these risks. Utilizing your experience, you also coordinate and support the implementation of procedures, processes and continuous improvements in accordance with our control framework. Other important parts of your mission are to proactively track and understand changes in our business environment and effectively adapt internal control plans in a timely manner to meet new requirements.
International travel is included in this position.
Your character - a confident planner and reliable influencer
We are looking for someone formally qualified within accounting, with solid experience from internal control. You have excellent business understanding and documented experience from project management. Experience from internal or external audits, along with previous involvement in improving internal controls within a larger organization is advantageous. Experience from creating tools and documents, such as internal control manuals, training and communication material is also beneficial. As we operate in a global organization, you must have excellent English skills, both in speaking and in writing.

Being self-motivated and taking new initiatives come naturally to you, as does dealing with unexpected issues. With your strong communication skills, you know how to handle and influence our many stakeholders and you effortlessly create and maintain trusting relations that add value to our business.
