Sectra is a medical imaging solution supplier with its international headquarters in Sweden. Our users are medically trained professionals all over the world. Employees at Sectra shall be totally obsessed with the idea of our customer’s well being and we are always looking for people who are ready to walk the extra mile. Right now we need software developers and a project manager for our division for orthopedic solutions.
Sectra orthopedic solutions develops tools for planning surgical procedures of primarily hip and knee replacements, using advanced algorithms and image analysis. We are currently looking for a full time software developer, and a combined software developer and project manager, to our development department in Linköping.

We expect you to be extremely well-educated, smart, and professional but also to have a sense of humor when that is appropriate (life is too short not to have fun). At Sectra we hire you more for who you are and how fast you will learn, than for your previous experience. If you are the right person, and a fast learner, we will have no problem training you for what you need to know.
For this position we have the following requirements: A master’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent with excellent academic performance and grades. Fluent in English and Swedish. If you are applying for the combined project management/software developer job you should have documented project management skills.
In addition, we consider it a merit if you also: Have a deep understanding of image analysis and high level software architectural design. Have had experience from medical technology. Speak more languages than those required above (tell us which)
Are from a country other than Sweden Have other skills, such as;
Singing, playing music instruments, etc. We have a lively music tradition at Sectra. Are a pilot (we have many pilots at Sectra who fly to our customers). Have a background in sports.
