hela Sverige You will have key role to optimize IS/IT projects both locally and globally. Project management, project support and participation in various IS project forums within ABB will be an important part of your daily work. Another part of your job will be to run the project office and be responsible for delivering the qualitative programs/projects related to our IS/IT operations in line with agreed goals, timelines and budget and in compliance with PMO service scope.
As a Project Manager, you own and manage our project portfolio, which plays the central role for the prioritization of projects. You identify the projects dependencies, follow up time-plan and budget, review business requirements and needs throughout the project portfolio in order to develop our processes and methods further.
Leading and supporting other Project Managers is also an important part of your work. By providing guidance and trainings, you will even support project clients, projects owners and steering groups. You lead the division projects follow-up meetings at certain intervals, have an active role as a member of the IS Council and report directly to IS/IT management within the division.
You will work closely with business management to ensure that the right projects are implemented and ABBs set goals and strategies are followed. In addition to this, you will be responsible for project management method PPS and ensure, it is used as a decision model.
Are you a skilful and energetic leader with earlier PM experience with many projects at the same time? In addition, you can inspire and get both users and project participants to strive at the same directions? If yes, then you can be the one, we are looking for. It is important that you are communicative and flexible and enjoy the variety of different tasks. Also, good knowledge in economics are required in project and budget work. Equally important is your commitment, good teamwork and experience in the area. This, combined with a project manager training/certification or leadership training is advantageous. Experience from IS project management and from working in large complex international environment is also considered as a plus. Fluency in English and in Swedish is a must in this position.
ABB is looking for a Project Management Officer (PMO) for Power Grids division internal projects, which sets the standard for how IS/IT projects will be led, reported and followed up. As a Project Office Manager you will be responsible for the local project office based in Ludvika/Västerås and you will manage internal IS/IT projects. We are about 20 employees in the IS department, distributed in the cities of Ludvika and Västerås and our mission is to support our operations with help of IS process.
