We are looking for an experienced project leader for our team in Stockholm.
The RISE department Infrastructure and Concrete Technology has one of the leading groups in Sweden within the area of constructions (concrete) and supply systems (water, sewage, district heating). In the unit Material Design, we are focusing on the development and testing of sustainable materials and components close to the market. Within the unit we are 20 enthusiastic colleagues dealing with close-to-market R&D and services for clients.
About the position
The position is for strengthening our existing team in Stockholm. The main work tasks include leading applied projects in the areas of sustainable construction and construction materials. We work closely together with the cement and concrete producers as well as with construction companies and authorities to help the transformation into a resource efficient and carbon neutral economy. As a project leader you direct a team of experts on projects which are related to resource optimization, minimization of CO2 emissions and environmental impact in close collaboration with your RISE colleagues and industrial clients and partners. The position requires excellent communication and organization skills as well as a technical background within the construction industry. As a project leader you are not only steering projects administratively but also give technical directives for achieving the projects' goals.
Who are you?
You have a master in civil, chemical or materials engineering and you have extensive project leader experience for complex R&D projects gained in the construction or construction material industries. You have excellent communication skills and are used to work with diverse project teams of different expertise and backgrounds. Your industrial experience enables you to meet the goals for our industrial clients and steer the project team towards achieving the technical goals. You have excellent organizational skills but as well a broad understanding of technical processes within the construction industry, such as material development and application, construction processes, in particular for concrete constructions, and sustainability aspects (e.g. recyclability and reusability of materials and construction parts).
