In Linköping, we're developing our camera systems. As a site, our responsibilities range from electronics and optics to software, algorithms and vehicle testing. All vision development teams are working cross-functionally based on agile principles.

What you'll do?
The scope for this role is local Project Buyer for purchasing in development projects in Linköping. Development can take place in other sites in Veoneer globally that develop products, common is that serial production will take place in Sweden. This role is responsible for project buys from development to product launch at production site.
As a Project Buyer you will participate in project meetings, customer meetings and manage the project from purchasing perspective, seeing to that we follow development process together with commodity buyers whom are responsible for the component sourcing.
Also operative tasks such as manage meetings, BOM (cost, component), RFQ, plan purchasing activities to meet project targets of sourcing, buy components to secure prototype builds.
What you'll bring:
We are looking for an experienced person with good communication skills and with proven experience of purchasing roles. We believe that you have a good understanding of development projects and the importance of good handover to launch products to serial production. As Project Buyer you need to be well structured and have high engagement to finalize work before agreed deadlines, you need to handle many open tasks in different areas at the same.
To succeed you should have a Bachelor 's degree in economics, purchasing, engineering, industrial engineering or other relevant education for the role. You need skills in IT, PLM and ERP-systems, Sharepoint as well as good Office skills.
