Are you an experienced Engineering Lead ready to drive large-scale railway technology programs? Randstad is currently seeking senior Program Development Managers (PDM) for an exciting consulting assignment in Stockholm on behalf of our client, Alstom. As a Program Development Manager you will play a key role within the Program Engineering organization, overseeing the end-to-end technical delivery of critical development initiatives. We are looking for individuals with a solid background in System Engineering who thrive on delivering complex technical baselines according to high-quality standards. Personal suitability is vital; you need to be a strong collaborator with excellent stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities
As the Program Development Manager, your focus will be on the planning, execution, and governance of the program development process.
Lead Development: Drive program development activities and deliver baselines according to the Engineering Management Plan and QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) commitments.
Project Governance: Prepare and maintain the Engineering Management Plan, addressing design strategy, RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability), and Cybersecurity.
Technical Interface: Serve as the primary technical interface for the program, coordinating with System Architects and supporting users regarding program needs and definitions.
Configuration Management: Manage program items together with the Configuration Manager, leading CCBs (Change Control Boards) and validating hardware evolutions.
Continuous Improvement: Organize the capture of "Return of Experience" (REX) to improve engineering organization, strategies, and processes.

Qualifications
We are looking for candidates with extensive experience in system or product métiers who can lead transversal engineering teams.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience within the system/product Engineering Discipline within large-scale projects or programs.
Education: Engineering Degree is mandatory; a Master's Degree or Certification in System Engineering is highly desirable.
Expertise: Expertise in System Engineering, Concurrent Engineering, and Design for Safety/RAM compliance.
QCD Management: Proven track record of managing Engineering cost, planning, and Quality-Cost-Delivery analyses.
Standards: Ability to apply process standards, methods, and tools applicable to the métier and promote the Alstom Code of Ethics.
Your Personal Competencies
Collaborative Leadership: Ability to work transversally with various Engineering teams and manage direct or indirect reports effectively.
Communication: Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written, to coordinate with global teams and stakeholders.
Analytical Problem Solving: Strong ability to identify technical risks and manage complex design choices and trade-offs.
