WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are growing our Production team, and we are looking for our next stellar Production preparation Engineer. We believe you have strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and teamwork. You have proactive problem-solving mindset and the ability to think critically under pressure. Furthermore, you are detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and have an eagerness to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
To be qualified for this position we see that you:
• Hold a university degree related to Engineering or Manufacturing.
• Have a few years of experience from a similar position in the manufacturing industry.
• Are proficient with CAD tools (Solidworks/PDM is beneficial)
• Proven ability to coordinate projects effectively, dividing and managing daily/weekly activities to meet project milestones.
• Have a track record of successful collaboration with various departments within an organization.
• Experience to write and execute procedures to maintain and improve quality standards according to ISO9001
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Production is to deliver on strategic operational goals to meet customer expectations for product quality, cost and delivery - maximizing efficiency and driving excellence. As a production preparation engineer your responsibilities will be:
• Utilize both 2D and 3D design tools to create and order precision tools for manufacturing processes.
• Ensure tools meet quality standards and contribute to improved production outcomes.
• Optimize CAM files to enhance production speed and accuracy.
• Utilize (PDM) and SolidWorks to define comprehensive Bills of Materials (BoM) to ensure accuracy and completeness in documentation for seamless production workflows.
• Develop efficient production routing strategies to streamline manufacturing processes.
• Update and optimize WorkCenter configurations for various production stages to improve resource utilization.
• Building and release Manufacturing Orders through ERP systems to ensure timely and accurate execution of production orders.
• Design and maintain production layouts for optimal workflow efficiency.
• Collaborate with teams to incorporate changes and improvements in layout design.
