This is us, your new colleagues
We at Production Engineering Assembly at Volvo CE Operations Eskilstuna, Sweden have the task of supporting the assembly units that produce axles and transmissions. We are working on developing methods for assembly, testing and painting in current production as well as industrialization of new components. The department consists of 15 people working together to achieve our goals.
Role description
The role as production engineer means that you are responsible for the assembly methods for some of our products. You will be involved in many exciting challenges. We are currently working to introduce new components in our assembly, a project where you will become an important part.
You will get to work with:
• Time analyzes and balancing of assembly lines
• Problem solving in running production as well as development of methods and assembly instructions
• The role also includes work in projects where new products will be developed and industrialized
You work in close collaboration with the other engineers at the department, production managers and production staff.
You report to the manager of Production Engineering Assembly.

Qualifications
• You have education on university level
• You have knowledge and experience about axle assembly
• You have experience about building different products on the same assembly line
• You have knowledge and experience about SAP Factory Master and MII
• You express yourself easily in spoken and written English
