You will be part of Grid Automation Products in Västerås, the global center for protection and control within the power transmission area. We have approximately 200 employees who develop, manufacture and market products as well as offer comprehensive support and services to power customers worldwide. We work in close collaboration with Hitachi Energy units in 80 countries and 95 % of the sales are exported. Hitachi Energy is the world leader within protection and control with several groundbreaking technological innovations, which through quick fault detection has improved the availability and efficiency of power transmission networks.
As a Production Development Specialist, you will manage product and process master data for the delivery workflow and beyond. You will serve the internal organization in documentation of products, manage configurators. You will take an active part in developing the process and pursue digitalization opportunities.

Your responsibilities
In this exciting role you will be responsible for the process of implementing new and maintaining existing products in the factory
Creating documentation for manufacturing and taking an active part in the procurement process
You will be responsible for product master data management
Staging of product data in PDM/SAP/MES etc
Publishing product data to partners
Support developers with documentation structure and drawing creation
You will be a part of the production development team that works with everything from immediately remedial actions to long term strategic improvements

Your background
Experience in managing product master data is a key for this position
You are well familiar with SAP MM, VC
Experience from working in document management systems is essential
You are a driven go-to person willing to take responsibilities
You are a support- minded team player who has strong communication and collaboration skills
Proficient in English since you will be part of an international setting where you will get to exchange knowledge with people from all over the world
