Other things we do are to support colleagues when it comes to product documentation issues and to share and build knowledge on a global level.
We are also a very active team when it comes to developing improved or new ways of working, not only within Volvo Bus (VBC) but also together with our Volvo Group network.

Belonging in the organization
Our team, Product Documentation and Geometrical Architecture, is a part of VBC Global Product Development organization. We are mainly a support function with responsibility for VBC PDM system/process (Product Data Management), CAD support & VPDM System/Process (Virtual Product Data Management), Engineering support (Drawings and Standards) and Geometrical Architecture. Besides our daily work to support others, we are all highly engaged in driving improvement work within Processes, Methods and Tools and are also participating in many networks and forums within Volvo bus organization as well as within Volvo Group.
What we can offer you
Besides being part of a great team with high ambitions, your most important tasks will be to
Be the last approver in the chain of releasing product and part structure, before it 's sent to downstream systems.
Be the one to turn to for daily support related to product documentation as well as be a subject matter expert in P&IT initiatives and other situations when needed.
Pro-actively participate and drive product documentation work in our product projects from early stage to the end, to reduce the design loops and get a good quality, related to product documentation.

Preferred qualifications
Experience from working as designer/system owner, product preparation engineer, spare part engineer or similar.
Relevant University degree (min. Bachelor).
Complete vehicle and/or Chassis knowledge.
Fluent in English, verbal and written.
Experience from approving product documentation and/or working with Product Logic and Configuration is considered as an advantage.
Experience from Volvo Systems like KOLA (Volvo PDM System), DVP (Volvo Product Development process ), Catia/DCT (CAD and CAD tool), OAS (Order system), SPRINT (Production System) is considered as an advantage.
