Our mission as the Product & Quality Management group is to drive the development of products to support the service market worldwide. We develop and deploy product and system roadmaps for spare parts assortment and spare part information, and drive product quality improvements within the function. We also secure aftermarket software availability for future and existing products.
The Product and Quality Management group is part of Aftermarket Technology, a global function providing aftermarket support to AB Volvo's truck brands and business areas. Our mission is to make sure vehicles can be easily serviced and maintained. We achieve this by developing technologies for the service market and by setting requirements for optimized maintainability and business development.
This is what you will do
We are now looking for a Product Quality Leader to strengthen our team!
The Product Quality Leader's mission is to ensure spare part information and assortment quality performance by investigating, prioritizing and solving quality issues.
You will develop a quality roadmap and drive its deployment. Cross-functional work within Aftermarket Technology and towards other Business Units/Business Areas will be part of your daily work.
Some of you responsibilities are:
Collect and analyze data from different sources
Perform root cause analysis and drive identified solutions
Communicate and share knowledge about quality situation
Perform internal quality audits

This is you
Our first concern is to make our customers succeed so we are looking for a business and customer oriented person who shares our passion. You should have a deep technical understanding, preferably with experience in vehicle engineering and/or aftermarket business. You are able to work in a complex system environment, have excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a global and cross functional organization.
We believe in the strength of continuous improvement and for this reason we search someone who has excellent analytical skills and strong problem solving mindset. You should also have a "can-do" attitude and the ability to take initiatives to accomplish goals, be creative and direction setting. Furthermore, you have:
Master of Science in Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent
Experience from Quality Management and/or Aftermarket
Technical editor and/or spare part engineer experience is an advantage
Previous experience from data mining is a merit
Previous experience of the Volvo systems as KOLA, Lisa and GLOPPS is a merit
Fluent in English, verbally and written
