YOU WILL
Bosch R&D Center in Lund stands for modern development in cutting edge technology in the areas of connectivity, security, mobility solutions and AI. We are working on a range of interesting projects, with a particular focus on software development for the automotive industry, electrical bicycles, and Internet of Things and you will get to know various areas of the company and will work with colleagues from different countries, divisions, and functions.
You will be Product Owner for the DevOps integration team for digital instrument clusters. Our customers include almost all major car manufacturers, ranging from standard passenger cars to high performance sports cars. Your DevOps team maintains the continuous integration system for the base platform that all customer projects are derived from.
You are responsible for maximizing the value delivered by your DevOps team and ensuring that the team backlog is aligned with customer and stakeholder needs. Your main goal is to chart the technical evolution path for the automatic continuous integration system. You will decide what requirements to accept and together with your team of DevOps developers define the technical features needed to fulfil the needs.
Other tasks will be:
• building relationship with our scrum teams and Business Owners, gathering input and requirements and technical mentorship.
• together with the team drive and deliver road maps, strategies, technical investigations, system designs and set the path going forward.
• present features, vision and roadmap to stakeholders.
• support the team to address questions with features in refinement or development stage.
• Decide the roadmap for continuous Integration/Delivery and Tooling (Jenkins, Git, Gerrit etc.).
• manage onboarding of new team members.
• coordinate proof-of-concept activities.
YOU ARE
You have several years of solid professional experience working with software development and DevOps. You should have experience from one/some of these following technical areas: Gerrit, Jenkins, Groovy, Python, Gitlab, Splunk, Grafana. Experience in formally or informally leading software development is a plus. Know-how of the automotive industry would be good, but it is not a must. We expect you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
We believe that you are a driven person with a problem-solving mindset. You are eager to take ownership of deliveries and thereby take accountability and making sure that the vision and mission are carried out in the product. You have good communication and collaboration skills and easily engage other people. Having the willingness to effectively build formal and informal relationship networks inside and outside the organization is essential. You are used to taking initiative, are proactive and enjoy coming up with ideas for improvement.
