Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units.
Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.
Sales Portal is Scania's common system for quotation of trucks, buses, engines and related services. As one of several product owners, coordinated by a chief product owner, you will be responsible for the functionality of part of the system or working with specific project connected to the system. The main objective is to strive toward an application aligned with the corresponding global business processes. The application shall help our demanding users to increase sales, improve quality and/or reduce administration.
The role as Product Owner is all about collaboration. With your Product Owner colleagues, the Developers and the business. On this journey we are aiming high and want our customers, users, to succeed. We want to do change with them, not for them. This by improving the user experience, have a shorter speed to market and increase the end user satisfaction.
As a Product Owner you will be part of taking in and understanding business needs, analyse them, create clear and agreed upon solutions and break them down into well worked through requirements. This process will of course be in close cooperation with our developers within IT to ensure the feasibility of the solution.
What do you need to know to succeed:
• Have a relevant University Degree
• Fluency in English is a necessity, Swedish is a merit as well as any other language.
• Advanced analytical and problem solving skills
• Service minded
• Able to drive and be accountable for change
• An ability to see the big picture while still enjoying attention to details.
• Able to deliver timely in a fast paced environment
• You have proven communication skills
• Enjoy working with the challenges and benefits that comes with a cross functional environment

• A mindset that asking questions to understand is part of the journey of creating the best possible solution
• Structured while working but with a flexible mindset realising priorities can change
• Relevant experience from a business/retail perspective with a strong business oriented attitude
