Året var 2005 och e-handeln hade då länge varit otrygg. Med en idé om att erbjuda trygga och enkla betalningslösningar startades samma år företaget Klarna. Sex år har gått och vi har vuxit till ett ambitiöst och kreativt gäng på 500 stycken. Vi har blivit utsedda till Årets företag -07 (skryt), ökat omsättningen med 13 570 % (statistik) och lyckats bli marknadsledande i Norden (fakta). Klarna är idag delägt av Investment AB Öresund och Sequoia Capital - ett bolag som såg samma potential i Google, YouTube och Apple Computer, som i oss. Det tycker vi är en bra början.
Klarna has continuously been growing at a very fast rate since the start in 2005 and is today the Nordic market leader within the e-commerce business. We process transactions from millions of users, serve more than 10.000 merchants, and handle hundreds of millions of Euros. Growing at this rate demands a product portfolio that constantly meets the requirements and needs from both customers (web shops) and consumers.
At our R&D department we are about 100 committed and hard working people, passionate about creating game changing products within online payments. The department is divided in multiple small start-ups and as a Product Owner you will be responsible for the coordination of large development projects in one of these start-ups - directly contributing to Klarna's future growth.
As a Product Owner you will, for example;
• Collect product ideas & requirements from our stakeholders & handling maintenance
• Translate strategic goals into concrete developments tasks
• Execute large scale development projects
• Drive cross-team collaboration between our developers and other teams
• Handle backlog management of the product area (maintenance + new features)
Are you ready to become an expert in the E-commerce and Payment areas?
You have finished a Bachelor or Master degree, preferably with a technical/engineering background, and are now looking for a great opportunity to work in a technology-intensive and innovative product environment. You enjoy going in-depth technically but also have an ability to see the overall vision. We consider it a merit if you have previous experience in product management and/or development in a data-intensive field however this is not a requirement.
Working in a highly entrepreneurial culture is something you enjoy, were you are expected to come up with new ideas, engage others and implement your vision. Within the area of process management you are able to set concrete development goals for the team based on longer-term projects while keeping a good project overview and motivating the team to achieve these goals.
You are ambitious and always consider problems ahead as being the next great challenge. You are capable of communicating with both internal & external stakeholders and are analytical in the sense that you have a strong ability and passion to dive into details and become a payments domain master.
