What you'll do
Maximizing consumer value by owning and deciding upon priorities in the product backlog from a business perspective to streamline the execution, while maintaining technical integrity of the features/components for the team.
You will create & maintain the short- and long-term vision, business flow and methods of the product.
You own, build, prioritize, decide and refine the roadmap and product backlog.
You are responsible for the development of acceptance criteria for stories.
Own the digital product and maximize customer value during the complete product lifecycle.
Responsible for ensuring the end-to-end operations of my product, including transition, monitoring, reducing technical debt and problem solving.
You will also collaborate with the team and architects to ensure state of the art technical solutions.
Work with Product Managers to define and maintain the ART roadmaps.
You will also collaborate with other Product Owners to manage product dependencies.
Along with the Scrum Master, protect the team from uncontrolled injection of ad-hoc work.
Validate backlog items making sure they meet the acceptance criteria, definition of done (DoD), and has the appropriate tests.
You will participate in sprint team demo and retrospective, and upon need: in other events.
You continuously develop my own skills and help the team and other Product Owners to develop theirs.
Foster a data driven approach and set & follow-up targets for product metrics.
You are responsible for ensuring compliance with non-functional requirements outlined in Volvo Cars policies and directives for my products.
Responsible for ensuring that information assets are handled and managed i.e. protected according to best practice.

We are looking for someone with a strategic mindset with the ability to see the big picture with the ability to inspire and motivate the team in working towards a common goal. You effectively aligns the interest of multiple, diverse stakeholders and takes constructive action to navigate difficulties or impediments. You act as a role model for the Volvo Cars We culture and also as a servant leader. You are collaborative with the ability to engage input from others constantly as well as result oriented.
Skills
You have excellent communication skills.
Ability to prioritize based on a holistic view of the product area value and surrounding value streams.
Knowledge of the business domain with ability to understand end user needs & network with stakeholders.
Leadership skills.
Facilitating collaborative design & innovation.
Good understanding of Agile, Lean and Scrum
Technical familiarity & curious of new technologies in the area of the product.
DevOps familiarity.
Program and product backlog management.
Prior experience of
Software product development
Product management
Agile ways of working
Education
BSc, or equivalent experience in a relevant field (significant on the job training can be seen as equivalent).
