In this new organization, we now had a need for a Product Owner to look after our Gift Card experience product in Customer facing domain.
Opportunity Snapshot
You will develop and execute a comprehensive Global Gift Card Product strategy that drives profitable business performance and delivers a best-in-class customer experience throughout the full customer journey including the purchase and payment flow. As the Product Owner you will define the product development roadmap based on a deep understanding of global market/industry trends and customer insights. You will work with a cross-competent global product team to improve the H&M Groups' gift card experience across different brands and different channels in 77 markets. This highly cross-functional role is a unique opportunity to deliver business and customer value using a breadth of competencies, including strategic thinking; operational execution; data-driven testing and analysis; product management; team leadership; vendor and stakeholder management.
Key stakeholder partners include global and regional teams (eCommerce, Sales and Merchandising, Accounting), other Product Owners for our payment and checkout products.
Job Description
• Develop and execute an end-to-end Global Gift Card product strategy, aligned with company goals and industry best practices.
• Own the end-to-end gift card product lifecycle from ideation to execution and optimization. Accountability for benefit realization; operational efficiency; and achievement of gift card specific KPIs
• Set ambitious and clear product mission, objectives, and key results (OKRs). Translate these into a prioritized roadmap and development backlog to achieve key results.
• Lead a cross-functional team including business experts, engineers, data analysts, and product designers to execute product strategy and deliver business growth and customer value
• Champion gift cards internally to support business objectives.
• Create commitment & understanding around the global and local gift card product strategies, objectives, goals, and milestones with different stakeholders (global, regional, local) and payment and checkout products.
• Maintain subject-matter expertise on the competitive gift card landscape, market trends, and customer insights and expectations to inform strategic priorities.
• Work with regional and country-specific gift card teams to understand local product needs.
Qualifications
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience working in consumer retail; e-commerce, gift cards, and/or payments.
• Previous experience of Lean-Agile Development and methodologies as well as Product Vision Creation and Product Roadmap Development and OKR methodologies.
• Capable of designing, developing, and delivering end-to-end product vision, strategy, roadmap and KPIs to maximize user adoption, business value, and effect realization.
• Demonstrated experience leading a global team through transformation.
• Strong analytic skills and financial acumen to derive actionable business insights; craft business cases; and ROI-driven decisions
• Ability to clearly express the connections between larger business goals and small backlog items for team members
• Capable translating complex global strategies for relevance in local contexts.
• Identify as a self-starter; ability to create structure from ambiguity; and manage/prioritize complex workstreams
