What 's in it for You
You will be part of the ART Traction battery SW at Vehicle propulsion, the heart of electrification at Volvo Cars. The group Battery Controls System A&V is responsible for software tests for the battery controls system in our electrified vehicles.

What You'll Do
You will be the servant leader for the 2 teams; Measurement and Safety and Communication Testing (MaSCoT) and STST. The teams consist of highly skilled engineers with a focus is SW tests in HIL, rig and in complete vehicle of both in-house and supplier-developed SW. The responsibility of the team, and hence the responsibility of you, is to Verify and Validate traction battery software, both supplier and in-house SW.
This is realized by assessing and analyzing the system from a customer perspective, the solution needs to be verified according to the requirement and validated to ensure that the correct solution is applied. With the results from the testing, you will make sure that the right teams are addressed and give input about priority and re-testing.
You will take responsibility for creating and following up on features and coordinating the dependencies with other teams. You will also participate in defining the acceptance criteria for stories and draft them when feasible.
With input from System Architect, Product Manager, the team, and other stakeholders, you will also be the primary responsibility for the content and priorities of the team backlog.
Competence is Important
We believe you have an MSc or BSc education relevant to the area in combination with experience from product development and project management within the automotive industry. You will also need extensive experience in the SW development and testing area.
Below will be considered meritorious:
o Experience of vehicle propulsion system
o Experience of high voltage system
o Experience of ISO 26262
o Experience of agile methods
Personality is Key
You are a data-driven person with good documentation and presentation skills. You are able to define, structure, and delegate complicated tasks. You have the courage to prioritize and lead.
You love cars as much as we do and of course, you have a B driver's license as well as you are fluent in English due to that we are a global company.
