To our Development and Production Centre in Gothenburg, we are now looking for a Product Manager
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the machine tool Observer.
Drive the continuous development (SCRUM) and release of the related Product(s) according to the Product Line strategy:
• Identify and prioritize customer needs on the product and align these with the Product Line Strategy
• Act as the SCRUM Product Owner for the development of the Product(s) and related Technologies
• Direct SKF product development and R&D resources in product- and technology development projects
• Effectively communicate the direction to key stakeholders
• Drive the launch of new product releases
Be the link between the relevant markets and the respective Product (Line):
• Forecast short and long term horizon on Product requirements (backlog and technology development) by Industry
• Implement the Product Line Strategy for the relevant markets
• Business and Marketing support to ramp up new solutions / releases and/or releases to new target customer groups
Support the relevant sales units:
• Support the identification of (future) customer needs
• Identify and develop new business opportunities for new and existing customers
• Ensure excellent product support through Technical Support Group and Customer Support Group
Organizational and Strategic:
• To drive knowledge sharing within the SKF organisation by coordination and sharing information about the product line offers via presentations, trainings, workshops etc.
• Monitor competitor activities and share competitor information.
• Drive the leverage of our REP products and solutions towards our bearing business.
Job Requirements
• University degree in marketing, business or equivalent
• Product management experience with Software as a Service (SaaS)
• At least 5 years working with successful software product launches
• Good communication skills and fluent in written and oral English
• Ability to work in cross-functional environment
• Experience working in a global environment and capable of working with cultural and regional diversity
• Certified and experienced with SCRUM development process
• Sales, marketing and/or business development experience is an advantage
• Ability to inspire and influence people
• Good financial knowledge
• Willingness to travel
