Flygt controllers are available for the full range of pump stations, from the smallest pump station for easy pressurized sewage to the main lift station and treatment plant process. They enable you to control, monitor and log your process, while reducing power consumption, saving maintenance costs and maximizes your pump station. This product line is currently in a very expansive phase with several initiatives in product development, which also means that completely new products are launched.
The roleThe Product Manager plays a significant role for Xylems future market position and is responsible for the entire Controller portfolio life-cycle and strategic planning. You will be the important link between the market and the product development in which you have overall responsibility for driving profitable growth across our product portfolio Flygt controllers. You partner with sales companies to ensure that profit/ order/revenue targets are met. You will actively seek new market opportunities, perform market and competitor analyzes and identify customer needs. Your responsibility is to ensure that the product strategy and road-map is in accordance with company goals, evolving customer needs and market /competitive dynamics. The role involves a close cooperation with Xylems internal departments and sales companies to ensure a sustainable and profitable growth.
• Define and drive the product roadmap and portfolio strategy * Drive and participate in product development/business development/launch of projects * Establish global market prices for the products * Conduct product and sales training for our sales organization * Follow up on sales figures and margins * Launch new products in the existing product portfolio. * Take initiatives to drive growth for your portfolio in close cooperation with the sales organization and the R&D department * Keep product related marketing material updated * Monitor the product portfolio of our competitors * Actively contribute to the development of the market segment
This position is located at Xylem's office in Sundbyberg and you report to the Marketing Manager. As the role requires close contacts with the markets, travelling (approx. 25 %) is required in order to visit conferences,trade shows, sales companies and customers.

Background and personal qualities
We are looking for a candidate with solid experience of advanced control and automation solutions. This, combined with 5 plus years of international sales/marketing experience or other business-facing roles gives you the right skills. If your experience is from the pump- and/or the wastewater industry, it is an advantage.
A university degree within a relevant field is a must and excellent skills in English, both oral and written are essential to perform this work as part of a global company.
You are commercially focused and demonstrate superior organizational skills and profound business focus. You are used to work independently and strategically and you have the ability and commitment to analyze and resolve difficult issues. You enjoy influencing others and have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
