hela Sverige Volvo Group Product Data Management (PDM) is used to manage our product definition information throughout the entire product's lifecycle. PDM logic consists of a set of information elements (such as variants, parts, design change notes etc.), processes/methods and IT-systems.
We are a team of professionals globally working with the PDM strategies and enhancements triggered by the Volvo Group business demands. The work is carried out together with a comprehensive network of people at different Volvo Group sites and functions.
We are now looking for an experienced PDM business analyst to join our team and bring Volvo Group PDM logic to the next level.
Main tasks:
As PDM business analyst, your main tasks will be to:
participate in PDM-related business investigations and projects in mechanical and embedded software areas to map business demands and define corresponding PDM solution
actively spread and share knowledge by developing high-end presentations and coaching others
be involved in defining new processes and methods as well as specifying the IT support required in order to meet future business demands
cooperate with specialists from other functions/sites across Product Development, Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing and Aftermarket, at different divisions within the Volvo Group
coordinate a global network of specialists
continuously follow state of art and trends in the PDM area and identify improvement potentials

Qualifications and competences
In order to succeed in this role you have:
a.experience of PDM/PLM area (preferably experience from Volvo Group PDM, i.e. KOLA)
b.strong analytical skills.
c.strong coordination and collaboration skills
d.experience of making business analyses
e.good presentation skills
f.engineering degree (or corresponding work experience)
g.basic knowledge of automotive industry (preferable, but not mandatory)
