In this position at Essity you will support projects regarding systems, tools and processes as well as work in close collaboration with colleagues in Global Procurement. The Organization, Global Operational Services (GOPS) is a global unit created to deliver business value to Essity and our customers by driving group-wide operational efficiencies through end-to-end services and solutions. About the Role
The Procurement Analyst is executing tender and bidding activities (RFx / eAuctions), providing operational reports and data driven insights to enable further improvement to all procurement processes. Furthermore, this is a role supporting the procurement operations and category management teams by providing relevant insights (Market Intelligence, Category Profiling, Supplier Segmentation etc.)
You will Engage and train suppliers, monitor supplier behavior / follow-up on functional & technical issues for events to enable efficient bidding processes. Part of your role will also involve providing Standard & Ad-Hoc Operational Reports, Performance management and continuous improvement.
What You Will Do
Design and execute RFx / eAuctions in Ariba Sourcing module based on overall business priority
Recommend Rfx / eAuction strategies to category managers//buyers based on category nature and supplier landscape
Analyze results of Rfx / eAuction and generate report on outcome to support decision making process
Utilize internal and external information such as: commodity indices, price fluctuations, industry structure, trends, and financials, as well as supplier positioning to identify trends, risks and opportunities
Provide generated insights as input for developing category strategies and help organization to leverage market intelligence by providing forecasts and prepare recommendations for decisions
Define and set-up standardized operational reports by using applicable tools in alignment with respective internal stakeholders, considering and reflecting Global Procurement KPIs
Leverage analytics tools to monitor savings and report savings progress
Regularly prepare variance reports (budget vs actuals on spend, realized savings, etc.) and escalate issues appropriately
Constantly monitor fulfillment of Service Level Agreement (SLA) compliance for defined processes
Identify process/system improvement opportunities and flag them to procurement excellence
Bring user feedback and requirements as input for further system development
Ensure high level of data quality and propose corrective actions and contribute to best practice sharing
Who you are

Also, to be successful in this role, you need a minimum Bachelor degree with emphasis on the areas of business, economics, finance, procurement, data or comparable professional education. We are open for junior candidates as well as senior ones. If you have work experience in similar role in procurement environment it is an advantage, but we welcome anyone who sees this as an opportunity to learn and grow.
You work independently and are comfortable in driving smaller projects and work towards multiple stakeholders in a high-pace matrix organization. You speak and write English on a fluent level. Given that you will have multiple stakeholders across the business, you should be a good communicator, with high sense of collaboration. As you will come across a wide range of people in all levels of the organization it is essential to have the ability to create and maintain relationships with colleagues.
Furthermore, you should be:
Be comfortable with processing and analysis - big data analytics/ trend analytics is an advantage
Have experience in PowerBI or SAP Analytics Cloud
Actively drive analytical solution implementation by following up development progress, testing and documenting
It is an advantage if you have process and business understanding in procurement environment as well as experience in SAP Ariba/SAP R3/S4HANA
