Ericsson's Business Area Digital Services (BDGS) provides leading solutions and platforms in OSS, BSS, Core, Communication Services and Cloud Infrastructure. We are the partner of choice for Service Providers, combining 5G, Automation, ML/AI, Exposure, CI/CD, Distributed Cloud and Web scale with an iconic user experience.
The purpose of the role is to work with privacy requirements in the BDGS area of responsibility in line with business needs and Ericsson's group Privacy strategy.
You will
Drive operational excellence, continuous development and improvement of BDGS Privacy Tactical Plan, targets and directives based on regulations and business needs
Provide specialist privacy knowledge and advice within BDGS.
Execute governance models, processes, methods, tools and training to enable the organization to adequately assess privacy and ensure effectiveness of privacy program and control.
Drive Privacy Impact Analysis on BDGS products and portfolio, along with our associated infrastructure, and follow up on findings
Report on Privacy Risks to the GDPO, CPO & BDGS Leadership
Assist the global privacy organisation in the event of a breach or incident
Analyze: Changes to the business environment, Corporate audit reports, Security assessments, Incidents, New threats and Vulnerabilities, and provide recommendations for improvements
Deliver specialist knowledge to support in setting targets and strategies, via training and instructions/guidelines
The Digital Services Security Centre is responsible for the following with regard to Privacy:
Secure Products
Evaluate different security & privacy techniques on our products and solutions
Manage investment in security & privacy features
Align across Product Development and Service Delivery units with regard to cyber security & privacy
Define BDGS's privacy strategy
Secure Development
Security & privacy across the developer environment
Protecting our most sensitive data
Building resilience into our development and testing infrastructure
Secure Delivery
Ensuring the full Software Delivery pipeline is deployed securely
Establishing methods for assuring the security of our delivery to customers
Driving security & privacy in our cloud native environments
Support with the response to any privacy incidents relating to BDGS products and deliveries
To be successful in the role you must have
University degree or equivalent
5-10 years of experience within regulatory, compliance or information security of which minimum 3 years of experience within privacy related standard and regulations
Experience within regulatory, compliance or information security
Experience within R and D would be considered as an asset
Knowledge in Ericsson Security Policies, Directives and Instructions & knowledge of Ericsson 's business environment;
Knowledge about process development
Certification by IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) such as CIPM, CIPT, CIPP/E or equivalent highly recommended
Security and Risk Management training or equivalent experience
Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively, Very proactive and handson person
Strong problem solving skills, results-oriented and a strong team player.
Knowledge of internal and external product portfolio related to security
Experience in project or program management
Fluent in English (verbal and written)
