hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Schibsted Sverige AB i Stockholm We are looking for a new member to join our team of 7 privacy counsels who work with a variety of consumer brands mostly, operating in the area of news media (includning VG, Aftonbladet etc) and marketplaces (Blocket, Finn, Tori, Bilbasen) in different nordic countries. This team gets to work with the most complex and interesting privacy topics and - do it together.
The role of the privacy counsel is to execute Schibsted's privacy strategy and help ensure that Schibsted handles privacy well and complies with privacy and data protection regulations.
The tasks includes to:
- Guide and advice: Provide privacy advice to all companies, managers and personnel in Schibsted and support Schibsted's privacy tech teams.
- Drive and innovate: Advise product and tech teams in product development on how to implement privacy by design and combining privacy with data driven products
- Lead and assist: Design, implement and execute privacy policies and processes. Assist in carrying out DPO tasks, such as handling user enquiries and assessing and documenting privacy risks and advising on DPIAs
- Negotiate and document: Establish documentation on privacy compliance topics, and ensure vendor control through negotiating and advising on DPAs and other critical contracts
- Educate and influence: Initiate, facilitate and promote activities to foster privacy and data protection culture, awareness, and competence within Schibsted, including by providing training
The privacy counsel will be expected to undertake any other relevant duties relating to privacy in Schibsted.
We are looking for the right candidate to strengthen our Nordic team, and the new role may be based in either Oslo, Stockholm, Copenhagen or Helsinki.
Schibsted Data & Tech, which includes the Privacy Legal team, is positive towards a hybrid way of working (combination of working from home and in the office, or fully remote, depending on the employee's preferences). Fully remote employees must be located in Norway, Sweden, Finland, or Denmark.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in law or other relevant field
- + 3 years of working experience within privacy
- Strong communication skills (written and oral)
- Fluency in English, fluency in a nordic language is considered an advantage.
