Today, we have approximately 750 students between 3 and 19 years of age attending our school across all programmes. The school delivers the International Baccalaureate curriculums.
Our teachers come from more than 30 different countries all over the world, and the same goes for our students. English is the primary language at the school.
Our Preschool, Primary and Middle School programmes offer an alternative for international families who are residing in the Helsingborg region on a temporary basis, or for those moving overseas. Our Diploma Program is an excellent choice for all students, Swedish or International, looking to further their studies abroad or in Sweden once they graduate. The aim of our school is to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common humanity and shared guardianship of the planet, help to create a better and more peaceful world.

Publiceringsdatum2018-03-28ArbetsuppgifterAs a primary school Swedish teacher, your role will be to plan, organize, and carry out lessons for the students, ages 6-11 in the primary years program. You will have the overall responsibility for the Swedish language education of the students. You will work closely with the other teachers in our school, particularly the other primary school Swedish teachers and class teachers, following the philosophy of the IB education, but teaching the Swedish language curriculum.
You will be expected to interact with the students in a caring, gentle but firm manner. You will be expected to be professional and flexible, both towards your colleagues and the greater school community.
KvalifikationerThe successful candidate will have a teaching degree in Swedish and Swedish as an Second Language (SVA) and have work experience from primary school teaching in grades 1 - 5. You speak English well and you can read and write in English.
You are a team player and a positive, open minded and flexible person. When working with the students, you will be firm, but kind and goal oriented. You will offer assistance and adapt lessons when needed, but will also be sure to set challenges for those students who need it. As primary Swedish teacher will take the time to get to know the students and speak with them, creating relationships with them. In your role you will take initiative to make the school a place where students thrive.
