Gesynta Pharma is pharmaceutical company based in Stockholm developing novel oral treatments for patients with chronic inflammatory conditions. The company is led by an experienced team of pharmaceutical and medical research and development professionals and the team competency spans all essential aspects of the drug development process.
As a Preclinical Project Manager you will be responsible for coordinating pre-clinical drug development activities in Gesynta Pharma's projects and work closely with the team members to assure effective procurement, execution and follow-up of all preclinical activities. JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Preclinical Project Manager, your main areas of responsibility will include:
• Taking operative responsibility for coordination of non-clinical project activities
• Coordinating efforts of internal stakeholders and external experts to assure effective design and procurement of pre-clinical studies
• During studies, follow up and monitor of work by experts and manage external vendors as needed
• Coordinate authoring of pre-clinical section of regulatory and other documents
• Assure financial and administrative aspects of pre-clinical activities are adequately planned and followed up in collaboration with finance and management
• Contribute subject matter expertise (subject to candidate qualifications) to projects
• As a valued team member in a small company, contribute strategically and operationally in other areas where your expertise may be beneficial
QUALIFICATIONS
The right candidate for this position fulfills the following qualifications:
• Higher education in life sciences.
• Pre-clinical drug development experience, including project management in a pharmaceutical company setting
• Knowledge in drug development with excellent understanding of its strategic and regulatory considerations
• Previous experience as a technical expert in the areas of DMPK or toxicology/safety is a strong plus
• Experience from working in a smaller pharmaceutical company is a strong plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
