JIBS is now recruiting a Post doc in entrepreneurship and business development for its

WORKING TASKS
The MMTC was established in 2003 with the aim of becoming a knowledge hub on the transformation of the media industries. Since then, its strategic scope was broadened to study the impact of the driving forces digitalization, globalization, and sustainability for the transformation of businesses and industries.
The available position mainly focuses on research, exploring the role of different types and channels of communication for entrepreneurship and business development. It also includes teaching within JIBS' curriculum and in practitioner-oriented seminars. Furthermore, ability to participate in a research project related to media entrepreneurship is requested.
To promote good cooperation and climate at the university, active participation in JIBS' and JU's various activities is also included.
QUALIFICATIONS
You should hold a PhD degree from a reputable university in business administration, completed no more than three years before the last date for application. You should be able to transform your research results into high-quality publications of societal relevance. Therefore, a clearly developed research agenda aiming at top level outlets is meritorious.
Extensive practical experience of working with entrepreneurship is considered as a merit.
We prefer applicants to have a strong international profile and established an international research network. We expect that you are fluent in English and it is meritorious if you have skills in Swedish.
We are looking for applicants with a collegial attitude and a willingness to contribute to the organization.

Employment starts February 2021, or as agreed upon. It is a temporary, full time (100%) position for two years.
Please note that individuals close to obtaining their PhD are also welcomed to apply if they have set a date for their dissertation defense.
