The Department of Social and Economic Geography is recruiting
3 post-doctoral fellows
The Department of Social and Economic Geography at Umeå University is an interdisciplinary research environment of around 45 employees. The department opens now for 3 post-doctoral positions related to the following area.
1. Migration and intergenerational ties (2 years – 100%).
2. Resources and competitiveness in northern peripheries (1 year– 100% with possible prolongation).
3. Attitudes and values to forest resources (1 year – 100%).

Successful applicants should be committed to contribute to the scientific discourse within the department and are thus expected to be at the Umeå campus most of their time.
The application should include three signed copies of your resume and certified copies of any degrees and grades. Provide a short written description of your scientific work and teaching experience. In addition, provide two copies of your scientific work and other documentation as desired (no more than five major publications). Please, also state the desired date for commencing the position. Electronic applications have later to be sent in as copies.
