Assignment description
Group Design Leaderis the project leader for each group and are the main interface between the projects and the group. Responsibilities are to facilitate the team progress towards goals and to lead the group efforts in continuous improvements. To plan, monitoring and secure the groups deliveries to each project as well as reporting status and deviations from the agreed time, technology and cost frames to project and line management. You will be responsible for summary and report the complete group's deliveries and action plans prior to project gates. You need to be pro-active to secure a good status on all deliveries. The position gives good insight in different areas of the company and a wide circle of contact
Requirements
• You will be responsible to manage projects through all development phases, from concept phase to running production
• You have the responsibility that time, technology and cost are held and will be kept within the agreed framework as well as secure quality assured deliveries
• Responsible to create assignment time plans which meet the overall project plan
• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or other equivalent education
• Documented experience in use of Catia V5
• Knowledge in engineering design, manufacturing, mechanical joining and behavior of materials
• In depth knowledge in injection molded and plastic design
• Good knowledge of the systems (such as the KDP, LEQM, POB, TSU etc) is an asset
• Follow up of project milestones
• Initiate and assure that corrective actions are carried out when deviations occurs.
• Set up, manage and follow up the component development time plans.
• Be a part of technical reviews
• Ordering of test objects, soft tools and bought assignments.
• Responsible for time, cost and technique for the components in the project/s.
• Report status to the program management and line organization. Required qualifications:

You like to solve problems and you are always looking for possibilities and solutions. Besides your great communication skills you need to have an ability to present things in a good and clear way. You possess good leadership skills and have a team spirit. You must be capable of working with many tasks in parallel and within fast changes, why handling a high stress level is an important asset.Experience from working with safety restraint products is advantageous as well as understanding the product development process system VPDS.
