About the position
We are now looking for an experienced marketer who can drive and renew the way we structure and present Ericsson's portfolio including product naming. The way we present our portfolio plays a key role in our new marketing, communications and brand strategy. Successful execution of this assignment will have a high impact in the marketplace and contribute to position Ericsson for growth.
In this role you will work closely with marketing functions at the Business Units, Group Function Strategy, Group Function Technology, and Group Function Legal Affairs and with other units at Group Function Marketing & Communications, such as Brand Management and Digital Development. We are a small collaborative team at Strategic & Tactical Marketing and you are expected to contribute to all aspects of the marketing strategy and tactics. Responsibilities & Tasks:
Improving and driving our global portfolio presentation, external and internal
Improving and driving our global portfolio structure
Driving strategy and principles for portfolio presentation, structure and naming
Driving and chairing the Group Naming Council
Driving a global network of product marketing professionals
Supporting Group Function and Business Unit initiatives connecting to the portfolio area
Required competence:
Strong telecom/ICT business understanding, customer understanding and understanding of Ericsson's business strategy, portfolio and competitive environment
Excellent ability to collaborate, inspire and get buy-in across the organization
Experience from product marketing and/or using the product catalog and similar systems
Proven strong creative and high level of innovative skills
Proven strong analytical skills
Proven project management skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Execution focus and result oriented
Minimum of 5 years' experience in marketing
Fluent in English, oral and written
Preferred Qualification & Experience Requirements
Bachelor of Business Administration, Master of Science, or similar.
Five years of Marketing or Sales experience.
