Role Overview
The mission of our PMO is to ensure effective and aligned planning and execution of development efforts to realize expected value with optimal use of resources aligned with strategic agenda. It sets and maintains standards for Project Management within the organization, and orchestrates the project portfolio, ensuring we commit to the right projects and providing structure and guidance for successful project execution. As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead medium to large-sized IT and/or Business development projects.
Key Responsibilities - PMO Lead
Establish and maintain a consistent approach to managing and executing projects across the organization.
Maintain and monitor the project portfolio, tracking project and portfolio progress. Ensure that projects adhere to quality standards and facilitate the pre-project process and the Development Board decisions.
Develop project management best practices, provide coaching and hands on support to Project Managers and Boards to enhance their project management skills. Lead the Project Manager Network.
Provide development capacity overview and guidance to maximize resource utility.

Key Responsibilities - Senior Project Manager
Develop project ideas, define project scope, and determine available resources in collaboration with stakeholders.
Create project plans, activities, and assign team members.
Lead and coach project team members.
Monitor, manage and report project progress, including but not limited to budget, risks, issues and lessons learned.

Requirements
Experience managing the complete lifecycle of business and IT projects and also a proven track record of effective planning, executing, controlling, and closing multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of project portfolio management, dependency mapping, risk management, and resource planning.
Strong ability to build lasting relationships with key stakeholders.
Experience in project management methodology, using PRINCE2 is a plus.
Experience in managing and/or being part of a PMO Office is a plus.
Line management or team leader experience is advantageous.
Proficient skills in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Professional level of English fluency.

Additional information
Primary location: Our headquarter is in Vasagatan 16, Stockholm, Sweden. We are open to discuss placement in any of our Ework countries and offices.
Travels: We expect travels 1-2 days per month, slightly more if you are not located in Stockholm.
