We are looking for a PLM Platform Owner. The purpose of the position is to coordinate the development of PLM solutions in MacGregor and make sure that the overall solution is aligned across all units. Customers and/or interest groups: business people, CFO, Cargotec CIO, IM Council, IM Forum, Architecture Council.
Main tasks and responsibilities
To act as a single point of contact for the PLM solution built between the area's business and PLM program (contacts for different topics to discuss in more detail level)
Escalation channel for PLM solution relevant topics
To manage MCG PLM solution development in the program from area's perspective
To bring the overall visibility to solution development to different stakeholders
Report to IM forum (directly or indirectly)
Resourcing requirements for the solution development
Progress and current status of the development projects
Roll out project planning and control - together with the implementation project manager
Preparation of the rollouts from a solution perspective
Gathering requirements from the locations
Cost follow-up compared to budgeting.
What you'll need to succeed
M.Sc or B.Sc. in engineering with a minimum of seven years of experience in a similar role
PDM and PLM configuration and implementation experience
Knowledge of two or more CAD and PDM applications
English language both written and verbal on a very high level is required
Negotiation experience is important, as setting up and prioritizing functionalities requires negotiation both with the business and IM / IT people.
