About the job
We are on the lookout for a Performance Modeling Data Scientist to join our innovative and skilled R&D department. In this role you will act as the link between the battery technology team and embedded and digital development teams. As a modeling engineer you will be responsible for the development of performance models, and you will function an integral part of the Battery Technology Team within the Applied Research group. Your primary focus will be to support other members of the Battery Technology Team with data analysis, as well as work closely with our software developers to define algorithms for operational performance, such as state of charge (SOC) and state of health (SOH).
The position is based in Kista, Sweden.
Responsibilities:
• Develop models in Matlab Simulink or similar software
• Optimize models to fit measured data
• Develop algorithms for operational performance, for BMS implementation
• Develop algorithms for operational performance, for implementation in Polarium's digital back-end platform
• Support internal and external stakeholders with expertise within the area
Qualification and experience:
• 3+ years of experience from a similar role
• Experience BMS SOC/SOH algorithm development
• Coding experience in C is a plus
• Excellent technical skills
• Relevant higher education
• Willing to travel from time-to-time
• Great communication skills; fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Experience in AI and edge AI is a plus
